Can i still become an airline or cargo pilot with this criminal record?

i made a threat in HS when i was 18 to shoot up the school. it was really immature of me and i regret doing it. misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Can i still become an airline or cargo pilot with this criminal record?
boycott

thanks for the thumbs down, to explain why I said Boycott, this is about twenty or thirty times this person has asked the very same question. He/she has also used different member names to ask it. I recommend we boycott this troll. Can i still become an airline or cargo pilot with this criminal record?
Do I have deja vu or do you have multiple personality disorder and/or anterograde amnesia? Seriously, how many more times are you going to ask this question? More importantly, why? I did consider this possibility the first time I answered you, but now I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that you'll fail the medical on psychological grounds way before your criminal record becomes an issue.
No.

You can be a felon or worse and be hired as a Part 121 pilot, but someone with such a conviction involving children doesn't stand a chance.

';It was really immature';? No. It was really asshole. It had nothing to do with immaturity.

You're lucky you haven't (yet) been tracked down and shot by some of the families or kids. When you are found shot to death the police will not--and should not--work hard on the case.
I'm really liking Cherokee's answer. I agree - I say BOYCOTT THIS USER. This is NOT the kind of repeated question we need on Yahoo Answers.

I've answered this question twice myself. You've asked this same question at least seven times. And looking at your points, you'll have to get a new user name to continue asking it.

And btw, Cherokee had the best answer last time for this occurrence.
Regulations for cargo pilots are no different than those involving passenger transport. The answer is NO - No reputable company would hire you with this in your backgrtound. Move on and STOP asking the same question over and over gain. Stay away from aviation. Stay away from yahoo answers.
Thanks for the points, how many more times you gonna ask this? Is the point to wait until you get answer you like or see how many people will sympathize with you that it shouldn't be held against you -- if you ever really did anything.
No, you should be in prison.
Should not be held against you.. usually they require you to be crime/charge free for 5 years without re-offending and able to show proof of all sentence compliance and successful completion of probation, you will likely have to provide documentation for this.

Why not go directly to the source and find out for sure?

Good Luck, keep in mind many pilots are out of work due to lay offs...

Also Airlines almost always will choose a pilot with military service over someone who has just gone to school.

Embry Riddle in Daytona Beach is a great facility .
That is a job path that is highly competitive. I would hope that a ';stupidity'; misdemeanor would be overlooked, but everything else had better be perfect!
the only way you will know is go for the job. A misdemeanor like this would hopefully be overlooked but then again airlines are looking for professional people and they may reject your application due to this
As long as it is not a felony you can still be a pilot. good luck
