How big is 65 cubic feet, the cargo area in the back of a Nissan Xterra?

I am looking for a good van/small suv for both, the use for my pet sitting business and personal use. I prefer something that i like and that doesnt use a lot of gas. Do you think the Nissan Xterra is a good idea? Big enough for crates in the back? Even for Great Danes? Thanks..How big is 65 cubic feet, the cargo area in the back of a Nissan Xterra?
I would suggest looking at the vehicle in person and measuring your crates for your dogs. How big is 65 cubic feet, the cargo area in the back of a Nissan Xterra?
Not too sure about the Nissan but try and get a small SUV that has folding back seats. Smaller SUV's tend to have smaller space in the back but offer the ability to fold down the rear seats. Stick with a newer model SUV with a V6 engine otherwise there's no point in calling it an SUV since it won't have any power and you'll still get decent gas mileage. You can google many of the models to find the gas mileage and folding seat availability and see what fits you best.
That is about 4x5x3. I have a Trailblazer and can put a dog crate in the back without the seat folded. In an Xterra you may need to fold down the seats. A crate for a Dane may be hard to get in the rear opening height wise but a large crate should fit. One for a German shepherd.

A minivan would be ideal for crating Danes as they have more verticle space available.
