What are the differences between Abercrombie and Fitch and American Eagle Cargo Shorts besides the price?

Help please. I ask because it seems like a lot of guys go for either one. Is one more comfortable than the other? Is the material better in one than the other? My boyfriend freeballs (goes commando) sometimes, is one more comfortable for this than the other? Just curious. My guy is coming home from Afghanistan (he's in the Army) next week and wanted to buy him some cargos. What are the differences between Abercrombie and Fitch and American Eagle Cargo Shorts besides the price?
The most obvious difference to me is the quality. My brother has both types of shorts: his most recent AE pair has holes in its pockets, while his A%26amp;F ones are in top condition. The material on the A%26amp;F ones definitely feels more sturdy and long-lasting, while the AE ones are so-so. They probably both are comfortable, as I know guys who'll do just about any kind of activity in either kind.

Also, as far as appearance goes, I definitely like the look of A%26amp;F male shorts more than the AE ones...they automatically indicate that a guy has good clothing taste, is clean cut, and that he actually cares about presenting himself well, unlike the average Joe who basically wears whatever he happened to be sleeping in.

Finally, if you buy full-price, the A%26amp;F ones are only 15 more bucks; they also have some on clearance for $28.90. I would definitely say to go ahead and get your guy a pair of cargoes from A%26amp;F that will last him well, make him look good and reek of good taste.
