How hot does it get inside the cargo compartment of a non air conditioned truck in the summer?

I understand that it will eventually get as hot as the surrounding air, but how quickly? How hot does it get inside the cargo compartment of a non air conditioned truck in the summer?
It can easily get to 160+ in the summer. Think about how hot your car gets when it sits all day in the sun in July. The cargo area or trailer of a truck gets just as hot or hotter. How hot does it get inside the cargo compartment of a non air conditioned truck in the summer?
Hotter than a whore on $5 night, and let me tell you, that is hot.
It will get much hotter than the outside air. If the truck is parked with the windows closed it will get hotter than if the truck is moving at 65 mph with the windows open. You can live through the latter. Don't ever leave any animal in a hot parked car.
only one way to find out - use a thermometer - you can get one pretty cheaply

get one with an inside/outside temp then you can put the readout inside the cab and the outside in the cargo. then flick between them to read the difference.
