What is the temperature (in Celsius) inside the cargo area of an aircraft?

I will be shipping chocolates that require me to have it shipped with temperatures between 18-22 degrees celsius. What is the temperature (in Celsius) inside the cargo area of an aircraft?
it depends what kind of plane they're on

old cargo planes like the DC-8/9 generally have no climate control in the bellies, while the containerized topside has a pressurized climate control heating..so its stroke of luck there

newer cargo aircraft like the A300-600 have 29 containerized positions and a small aft belly that is heated by exhaust..so it gets to only around 50 degrees

it's stroke of luck really..go with a company like Fedex/UPS,,whom fly newer aircraft that you have a better chance of climate control if its containerized (which is far more likely in a UPS A300, which they have about 58 of than the USPS which only flies old DC8s and 727sWhat is the temperature (in Celsius) inside the cargo area of an aircraft?
Probably around the same as the cabin. Now outside, thats a differant story. Outside at like 30,000 feet its around -59F
the temperature in the hold depends on the altitude of the plane and where in the world you are. Normally the temperature in the hold at crusing altitude is 0 celsius
temp in an aircraft's cargo area vary from whatever temp it is on the ground to extreemly cold as the aircraft reaches cruising alt. your best bet is to pack it in dry ice or some other cooling agent and packaging that will allow you to control temp. ask your shipping agent what they would recommend
temperature in the cargo hold is exactly the same as the cabin. room temp. your chocolates should be fine.
