I seriosly need help!I need to write a paper on how cargo shipping will be different in the year 2100. Can someone help?
Well, if cargo shipping is still done by loading stuff onto a transport and loading it off at the other end, I think you could make a case that:

1. Security will be a big deal. Unlike today, by 2100 people should have figured out how to apply security to the cargo shipping industry. Today that would be impossible because of the vast amounts of cargo moving around the globe. Technology might allow security to be effective, using xrays or some kind of sensors to confirm what is in the boxes.

2. It will be easy to move cargo far distances. This is a continuation of what's happened so far with shipping. The ability to easily ship something across the planet will keep developing.

3. Cargo will move quickly. With bigger and faster ships/jets everything will be shipped faster. Overnight delivery to anywhere on Earth will be commonplace.

4. Amazing cargo tracking capabilities. Where's your box? In the future you will be able to see it on a real-time map as it moves down the street.

5. Reduction in errors. Just as bar codes and portable signature-capture devices have aided current shipping efforts, new technology should make mistakes nearly vanish. Maybe you just ';sign'; for the package by scanning your retina or something high-tech.

6. Damage would be eliminated through the use of very strong and lightweight packing material (cardboard would be a thing of the past). Maybe some very thin aluminum alloy or something.

7. Delivery options. In the future, satellite systems track where you are, so the cargo would be delivered to you no matter where you might be (as an option).
